The particle に (ni) has many uses; we will see some of them here. Firstly to indicate a place with a state verb, where nothing is happening. For this we will use the formulation place + に

わたし わ がっこう に いる (I am at school).わたし (me) is at がっこう (school) the important thing is the place so I use the particle に

いえ わ あそこ に あります (The house is there ).いえ (house) わ あそこ (to be there) indicates the place so just after we add に

Secondly to indicate a time thanks to the formulation time + に

わたしわ 6-じに おきました. (I got up at 6 a.m.).

Thirdly we can transform adjectives into adverbs for this just place に after the adjective: adjective + に.

しんせつ (nice) / しんせつ (nicely)

To finish specifying information to the verb.

べんきょう する ため よんで います (I read to study)

わたし わ がっこう いきます (I go to school)
