The Hiragana is one of the japanese alphabet. In this alphabet there 5 vowels "a" "i" "u" "e" "o". The "a" sound "ah" like in "water", "i" sound "ee" like in "be", "u" sound "oo" like in "soon", "e" sound "eh" like in "bed", "o" sound "o" like in "old".

Most of the consonnes use all the vowels for example the "k" is "ka", "ki", "ku", "ke", "ko".

From the "g" to the "p" is't a little different it's the same of "k", "s", "t", "h" but with accent, just add the accent and you have a new letter.
